Name: Quilted Bag Fabric
Description & Certifications: Outer made from 100% Organic Cotton. The cloth is woven and printed especially for us in Turkey. We always like to be able to trace our materials back to their origins and are proud to have visited the growers and weavers of this beautiful fabric. Filled with 100% wool from British sheep, which has natural anti-bacterial and insulating properties - a natural alternative to polyester filling. Tassels and binding are 100% cotton.
About the Print: An orchard is an area of land on which fruit trees are grown. The UK has 2500 varieties of apple alone. October 21st is Apple Day in the UK and was intended to be both a celebration and a demonstration of the variety we are in danger of losing, not simply in apples, but in the richness and diversity of landscape, ecology and culture too. It has also played a part in raising awareness in the provenance and traceability of food.
About the Style: Our quilted tote bags feature two of our beautiful prints, and are filled with 100% British wool. They also features a pocket on the front and a contrast binding . Made in the UK.
