Join visible mending expert Ali Clifford for a hands-on workshop exploring two different approaches to repairing and reviving your wardrobe.

During this three-hour session, Ali will introduce you to colourful, firework-inspired visible mending and the art of speed loom mending, showing you how to turn holes, worn patches and damaged knitwear into something worth showing off!

Whether you're looking to rescue a favourite jumper or simply learn a new skill, this workshop is all about making the most of the clothes we already own.

What You'll Learn

• Firework Visible Mending: Use colourful decorative stitching to transform holes and worn areas into playful, firework-inspired designs.

• Speed Loom Mending: Discover how to use a speed loom to create woven repairs, giving damaged garments a new lease of life.

• Tools & Techniques: Learn practical tips for choosing materials and making repairs that last.

No previous experience is needed. Ali will guide you through both techniques, so beginners are very welcome!

Please bring along a well-loved jumper, sock or another piece of clothing in need of repair.

If you wear glasses for close-up work, don't forget to bring those too!
